While working with public school students in Haryana, I noticed a critical yet overlooked issue: the absence of proper study desks. Children sat hunched on the floor for hours, affecting not just their comfort, but also their cognition and self-esteem. The vision behind Flexe-Desk was to democratize ergonomic design-bringing posture-first, accessible furniture to thousands of students who never had it.

• Designed the study table from scratch-lightweight, durable, stackable, and child-safe
• Conducted user interviews with teachers, students, and policymakers
• Led fabrication with local manufacturers to reduce costs using recycled plastics
• Integrated design-for-manufacturing principles to support scale
• 7,900 desks across 28 government schools
